Samsung and Globacom Launch Galaxy Z Fold 8 in Lagos

Samsung Electronics, in partnership with Globacom, hosted a Masterclass event in Lagos to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldable smartphones. The event took place at Gloworld, Opebi, and allowed attendees to experience the devices' advanced AI capabilities, productivity tools, and multitasking features.

Mr. Solomon Osibeluwo, Samsung’s Product Manager for EIP & MNOs Business, praised Globacom for its partnership, noting the Galaxy Z Fold 8's new design, brighter display, and enhanced viewing experience.

Mr. Mohamed Rabie, Director of Gloworld, highlighted the collaboration's focus on delivering innovation and value, announcing pre-order availability from July 22 to August 20.

Customers who pre-order will receive benefits including 10GB of free Glo data monthly for six months, a Glo eSIM with a Premium Number, Samsung Care+, and flexible payment options, valued at up to ₦1 million. The event underscored the commitment of both companies to enhance access to premium mobile technology in Nigeria.
