Saraki Commissions 500-Seater ICT Centre in Bauchi

On Sunday, Dr Bukola Saraki, a former Senate President, commissioned a 500-seater Information and Communication Technology Centre in Bauchi State, constructed by Usman Suphi, the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate. Represented by Kawu Baraje, a former Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Saraki congratulated the people of Bauchi for having Suphi as a notable son and praised his commitment to youth empowerment and education.

The ICT Centre is equipped with brand-new laptops and a Local Area Network, designed to adapt to digital innovations and support students in Azare and surrounding communities. Suphi emphasized that the centre symbolizes hope and opportunity, enabling thousands of students to confidently undertake computer-based examinations and acquire essential digital skills.

He called for support from governments, educational institutions, and corporate organizations to enhance educational initiatives. The project reflects the philosophy of the Assufiyya Humanitarian Foundation, which focuses on service to humanity as a form of leadership.
