Kuwait to Host Saudi Super Cup for the First Time

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) announced that Kuwait will host the Saudi Super Cup for the first time from December 19 to 23. The tournament will take place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium and will feature four teams: Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Qadsiah, and Al-Kholood.
A semi-final draw is scheduled for October 14. The hosting agreement was signed in Riyadh by SAFF president Bader AlReziza and Kuwait Football Association president Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Ahmad stated that Kuwait's hosting of the Saudi Super Cup is a significant addition to the Gulf sporting landscape. AlReziza described the event as an opportunity to broaden the tournament's regional footprint, engage a wider audience, and enhance its commercial appeal.
Kuwait will be the eighth host in the competition's history, following previous editions held in Mecca, Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, London, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong, reflecting the growing stature of Saudi football in the Gulf region.
