Presidency Responds to Lawal's Allegations Against Atiku

Babachir Lawal, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, made serious allegations against Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claiming that the recent primary elections were heavily rigged in favor of Atiku. Lawal described the electoral process as fraudulent, asserting that the results were pre-written.

In response, Daniel Bwala, the spokesman for the Presidency, stated that if Lawal's claims are verified, they would represent a major threat to the country's national security. Bwala also noted that the allegations reveal a bitter breakdown within the opposition camp, exposing the true intentions of its leaders.

He referenced previous claims of a coalition aimed at rescuing Nigeria, indicating that the situation has been a topic of discussion among the populace over the past two to three months.
