Tinubu Sends Delegation to Oyo After School Abduction

President Bola Tinubu has sent a high-powered delegation to Ogbomoso, Oyo State, in response to the abduction of 46 pupils and a teacher from Baptist Nursery Primary School in Esiel Yawota, Oriire Local Government Area. The delegation, led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, includes National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Inspector General of Police Tunde Disu, Chief of Defence Staff Christoph Musa, Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe, and Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication Sundai Dare.

This incident, which has raised widespread concern across the country, occurred during a raid by armed men on the school. The delegation's visit aims to enhance security measures and coordinate efforts for the safe release of the victims.

Sundai Dare disclosed that President Tinubu is actively coordinating efforts to secure the victims' release and apprehend those responsible for the attack. The situation has led to growing anxiety among residents, with ongoing appeals for federal and state government intervention.
