School Launches TETFund Blackboard Learning Management System

Kaduna State College of Education in GidanWaya has officially launched the TETFund Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) after completing training sponsored by TETFund. This milestone makes the institution one of the first in Nigeria to fully deploy a digital learning platform as part of TETFund's initiative to standardize teaching and learning practices in line with global standards.

The Vice President of Middle East Africa Anthology, Nicolas Alboouze, described the event as the start of a new chapter in Nigerian higher education, emphasizing the importance of embracing digital learning to ensure no student or lecturer is left behind. The Country Director and Head of Business for West Africa at Pole Global Marketing, Michael Adedeji Ladipo, expressed optimism for the success of the pilot project.

The Acting Director of ICT at Kaduna State College of Education, Simon GajereNyalla, highlighted the technical advantages of the Blackboard LMS, while Deputy Provost of Administration, Jummai Grace Tabat.
