UBEC and DLN Launch 47m Device Rollout for Nigerian Education

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and Digital Learning Network (DLN) have partnered to roll out 47 million laptops and tablets to students and teachers across Nigeria. The initiative aims to transform learning in primary and junior secondary schools, especially in remote and underserved communities.

The partnership, supported by Deloitte, UBA, Zenith Bank, and other institutions, will provide devices with digital learning content and internet connectivity. This collaboration signifies a significant leap in the education system of Nigeria, ensuring access to technology and quality education for millions of students and teachers.

The project also includes infrastructure development, teacher training, and collaboration with the National Teachers Institute to enhance the educational experience across schools in the country.
