Rangers Exit Europa League After Draw with Jagiellonia

Rangers faced a disappointing exit from the Europa League after a 1-1 draw against Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystock at Ibrox on Thursday, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate defeat in the third qualifying round. The Scottish team, managed by Derek McInnes, started the match positively, with international striker Lawrence Shankland scoring his first goal for Rangers from the penalty spot.

However, after halftime, McInnes made changes that seemed to disrupt the team's momentum. In the 65th minute, Nik Prelec equalized for Jagiellonia, outjumping two defenders to score from a cross by Anders Klynge.

Rangers had a late opportunity to salvage the match, but Bojan Miovski's header from close range went wide. The result left McInnes without a win in his first four games in charge, and Rangers will now need to defeat Czech team Jablonec to continue their European campaign in the Conference League.
