Sokoto Police Recruitment Screening Begins March 9, 2026

The Sokoto State Police Command has announced that the physical screening for police recruitment will begin on March 9, 2026, and will continue until April 18, 2026. The screening will take place at the command headquarters located on Gwandu Road, Sokoto, starting daily at 7:00 AM.

Ahmad Rufa, the Police Public Relations Officer, advised applicants who successfully completed online registration to log into the official recruitment portal to confirm their status and print necessary documents for the screening. Candidates are required to report strictly on the indicated dates with an invitation slip and must neatly arrange two white flat files containing various documents, including the application submission slip, physical screening form, invitation slip, national identification number printout, O-level certificate, birth certificate, declaration certificate, and local government state of origin certificate.

Additionally, applicants must complete a guarantor form and provide passport photographs. Ahm Musa, the Commissioner of Police for the state, warned that the recruitment exercise is free and urged the public to report anyone demanding money in connection with the process.
