Seadogs Enhance Constitutional Literacy for Rivers Students

Seadogs, through its Olympic Marino Deck, conducted a civic education program in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, aimed at enhancing constitutional literacy among secondary school students. The event, led by Emeri Okwakpam, focused on educating students about their rights and responsibilities as citizens.

It was held at CSS Mboshimini in the Obio Akpor Local Government Area. Okwakpam emphasized the importance of equipping students with the knowledge necessary to understand and exercise their rights, thereby nurturing socially conscious citizens.

The program primarily targeted senior secondary school students, who are at a critical stage of development. Participants received booklets containing selected provisions of the Nigerian Constitution and the Child Rights Act relevant to their age group.

Dr. Amadi Chidjok praised the initiative for its timely impact, while students like Ibelema and Boi Franci Etong Awaji expressed appreciation for the knowledge gained, pledging to share it with peers to promote responsible behavior.
