Sean Diddy Combs, the American rapper and music executive, has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after an alleged fight with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey. This incident was reported by NBC News and TMZ, citing unnamed sources.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to comment on the situation. Combs’ projected release date has been moved from April 2028 to February 8, 2028, although the reasons for this adjustment were not specified.

Factors such as good conduct time and credits earned through approved prison programs can influence release dates. This is not the first change to Combs’ release schedule; in November, it was pushed back to June 2028.

Combs, who has denied allegations of sexual misconduct, is currently appealing his conviction from a 2025 trial where he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is also facing over 70 civil lawsuits across the United States.
