50 Cent's Diddy Documentary Wins Emmy for Editing

Rapper and producer 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, celebrated an Emmy win for the Netflix documentary series "Sean Combs: The Reckoning," which focuses on Sean “Diddy” Combs. The four-part series won the award for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program at the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards held on September 5, 2026.

The award was given to the editing team for the episode titled “Blink Again,” with supervising editors Charles Divak and Evan Wise, lead editor Jack Gravina, and editors Benji Kast, Adam Goldstein, Jonathan Miller, and Jeremy Siefer recognized for their work. The series received three Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series and Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program. "Sean Combs: The Reckoning" premiered on Netflix in December 2025 and examines Combs' rise in the music industry, his Bad Boy Entertainment empire, and the allegations surrounding him, including footage recorded shortly before his September 2024 arrest.
