Security Forces Rescue 45 Kidnapped Victims in Bauchi

Security operatives successfully rescued 45 kidnapped victims from a forest in Bauchi State, specifically around the Alkaleri Local Government Area. This information was disclosed by Governor Bala Mohammed during a visit to the released victims.

He described the rescue as a significant relief for the families affected by bandit attacks. The operation, which involved a joint effort from various security agencies, resulted in the killing of bandits and the arrest of others, thereby weakening criminal groups in the region.

Governor Mohammed assured that the rescued victims would receive medical care, counseling, and support to help them return to normal life. He also emphasized the importance of properly documenting the victims, particularly in relation to illegal mining activities linked to insecurity in the area.
