Sen. Akpoti-Uduaghan campaigns for PDP's Oluyede in Ekiti race

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, threw her support behind Dr. Oluwol Oluyede, the People's Democratic Party's governorship candidate in Ekiti State, during campaign activities leading up to the June 20 election.

Akpoti-Uduaghan made her endorsement at a major PDP campaign gathering held in Ado Ekiti, where she described Oluyede as an experienced, people-focused leader capable of delivering inclusive development across the state. She spent several days touring communities throughout Ekiti to mobilise backing for the PDP candidate, engaging with party members, women's groups, youth organisations, and the Ebira community at various campaign stops.

The Senator's campaign efforts centred on Oluyede's track record and vision for steering Ekiti forward. According to statements from her media team, Akpoti-Uduaghan emphasised the candidate's commitment to addressing the state's key challenges and his ability to govern in a manner that benefits all residents regardless of ethnic background.

Oluyede's campaign has drawn support from political figures beyond Ekiti's borders as the June 20 polls draw closer, part of broader efforts by the PDP to consolidate backing for its gubernatorial ticket in the southwestern state.
