Yar’Adua Advocates Tech Solutions for Nigeria's Security

Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, has committed to a technology-driven strategy to address Nigeria's security challenges. He made this pledge after receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership, Governance, and National Development from the EuroKnowledge Institute during a ceremony at the House of Lords in London.

Senator Yar’Adua expressed gratitude for the recognition, dedicating it to the people of Katsina Central and his family. He acknowledged the efforts of both Federal and State Governments in improving security over the past year and praised the Armed Forces for their bravery.

He attributed the ongoing security issues to the Sahel crisis, which has led to an influx of weapons into Nigeria. Yar’Adua stated that effective leadership involves providing solutions rather than excuses and expressed confidence in the government's ability to succeed in the fight against insecurity, emphasizing the importance of leveraging technology and regional cooperation.
