Akpabio Launches Open National Assembly Week for Transparency

On Tuesday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio declared the commencement of the Open National Assembly Week during an event at the House of Representatives chamber in Abuja. This week-long initiative serves as a platform to demonstrate the legislature's commitment to transparency and to strengthen public trust.

Akpabio emphasized the importance of the Open Week, stating that it allows citizens to observe parliamentary proceedings and ensures that every Nigerian, regardless of their background, has a voice in governance.
