Southern Kaduna APC Aspirant Backs Katung for Second Term

Engr. Ciroma Almajiri Joseph, an aspirant for the Kaduna South senatorial district seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially stepped down from the race to support the incumbent Senator Sundai Marshal Katung in his bid for a second term.

Joseph announced his decision in a statement issued on Sunday, citing extensive consultations with family members, political associates, community leaders, and friends across the senatorial district. He emphasized the need for political maturity and unity within the APC in Southern Kaduna.

Joseph, who has a long-standing relationship with Katung spanning 35 years, expressed that his decision was not a sacrifice for political ambition but rather a commitment to team spirit and the greater good of the party. He highlighted Katung's achievements, including the establishment of a federal university in Kachia and a federal medical center in Kafanchan, and called for support for Katung's second term bid, reaffirming his loyalty to the people of Southern Kaduna and pledging to continue humanitarian efforts in the region.
