Monguno Launches Foreign Scholarship Scheme for Borno Youth

Senate Whip Monguno has launched the Monguno Foreign Scholarship Scheme in Maiduguri, offering fully funded master's degree programs in India to constituents. The initiative, worth a hundred million naira, aims to empower bright youth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

The selected candidates, after a rigorous screening process, will spend two years abroad for their studies. The scheme aligns with the efforts to rebuild Northern Borno region post-insurgency, providing opportunities for youth to compete globally and contribute to their community's development.

Senator Monguno emphasized the importance of education in the region's recovery and the need to empower the youth for a brighter future.
