Senator Abaribe Defects to Labour Party from ADC

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing the Abia South Senatorial District, has officially announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and his immediate defection to the Labour Party (LP). This announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday, where Abaribe cited ongoing legal uncertainties surrounding the ADC as a significant factor in his decision.

He clarified that his resignation was not due to any disagreement with the party's leadership. Abaribe expressed gratitude to the ADC members for their support during his time with the party.
