Tinubu Urges Health Fellows to Serve with Integrity

On Tuesday, Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, addressed young health fellows at the National Health Fellowship Program summit held at the State House in Abuja. He charged the fellows to serve with honour, humility, and courage, assuring them of government support.

Tinubu described the fellows as a driving force towards achieving a renewed national health alliance. The program selects fellows from 774 local government areas to enhance healthcare delivery nationwide.

He expressed gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Health and state governments for their partnership in sustaining initiatives that secure career paths for youth. Tinubu highlighted the potential of young people as a source of energy for creating opportunities and urged the fellows to work in synergy with traditional religious leaders to ensure effective service delivery.

He called for support in achieving universal health coverage, with Prof. Ali Pate, the Minister of Health, presenting the 2025 State Health Report during the summit.
