SERVICOM Launches PTDF Unit for Enhanced Service Delivery

On July 16, 2026, SERVICOM inaugurated a new unit at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) during an official visit to its headquarters in Abuja. The CEO of SERVICOM, Helen Lawal, called for a renewed commitment to public service delivery, emphasizing that the quality of governance directly impacts service delivery to citizens.

She noted that achieving world-class service delivery is essential and that the PTDF must enhance its service offerings, particularly in building Nigerian capacity. The newly formed SERVICOM committee will include representatives from various departments and will meet at least once a month to align operations with citizen-focused standards.

Lawal stressed the importance of staff sensitization to improve public service quality and promote accountability. Professor Shu Aibu Shehu Aliyu, the Executive Secretary of PTDF, expressed gratitude for the visit and acknowledged the role of the SERVICOM unit in raising public awareness about the fund's performance metrics.

The event concluded with the formal decoration of Aderemi Ajibola Adelabu as a SERVICOM champion.
