Shagaya Empowers Ilorin West/Asa Hairdressers for Success

Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya, the member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, completed a two-day intensive hairdressing training program for selected beneficiaries from the constituency. The initiative aimed to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment by equipping participants with modern hairdressing skills, professional tools, and start-up capital to establish and sustain their businesses.

This program was implemented in collaboration with the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanisation (NCAM) and Mai Concepts Technology. Shagaya reaffirmed his commitment to empowering women, men, and youths in Ilorin West/Asa through practical skills and resources to improve livelihoods and reduce dependence.

He stated that the initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the poverty alleviation efforts of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the training and resources, emphasizing its significance for their economic independence.
