Imams in Yobe Pray for Nigeria's Peace and Guidance

On a recent occasion, Sheikh Mohammad Nasiru Adam, the chairman of the Nigerian Imams Association, convened a special prayer session in Yobe State, Nigeria, to seek divine assistance for the nation. The gathering, which included various imams, was attended by Dr. Yusuf Abdullahi Yusuf, the association's general secretary, who acknowledged the dual challenges of security and economic hardship facing Northern Nigeria.

Sheikh Adam highlighted the significance of the prayer session, describing it as a vital human effort that must be complemented by divine intervention to ensure safety and good governance. Hon. Yusuf Umar, the Yobe State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, also stressed the need for citizens and leaders to prioritize prayer for peace.

The chief imam of the Yobe Mosque Islamic Centre in Damaturu, Sheikh Hudu Mohammad Yusuf, emphasized the aim of the gathering to raise awareness and guide leaders towards justice and unity among imams across the state.
