Sheikh Gumi Sues Two Individuals Over Defamatory Facebook Posts

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has taken legal action against two individuals for allegedly conspiring to cause public disturbance and defamation through Facebook posts. The defendants, George Udom Bello Isiaka and others, are accused of spreading false information about the defense minister and making threats against Sheikh Gumi, known for promoting peace and harmony.

The complaint was filed at the Chief Magistrate Court in Kaduna State, citing violations of penal code laws. The legal team led by Suleiman Lere is seeking summonses for the defendants to respond to the allegations.
