Shettima Honors Tinubu's Mother, Celebrates Her Legacy

During an annual grand prayer session in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima eulogized the late Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, mother of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing her as a woman whose love transcended family and shaped Nigeria's moral fabric. She passed away on June 15, 2013, at the age of 96.

Shettima noted that Mogaji's legacy would guide future generations and praised her role in instilling values in her son, President Tinubu. He emphasized her dedication to serving Nigeria, particularly in empowering market women and advocating for their rights.

Shettima also expressed confidence that Nigeria would overcome its current security and economic challenges, reaffirming President Tinubu's commitment to addressing these issues. Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, also spoke about Mogaji's life dedicated to serving others.

The event was attended by various dignitaries, including state governors and religious leaders.
