APC Mourns Alhaja Sidikat Abak Basiru's Passing at 92

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) mourned the passing of Alhaja Sidikat Abak Basiru, the 92-year-old mother of Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, on a Sunday. In a condolence message issued by Tinubu's special adviser on strategic communication, Bayo Onanuga, the President expressed heartfelt sympathy to Senator Basiru and his family during this difficult time.

Tinubu commended the late matriarch for her discipline, selfless service, and the strong moral values she instilled in her children. He acknowledged the profound grief that comes with losing a parent and prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljanah Firdau.

The APC also released a statement honoring Alhaja Basiru as a devout Muslim woman whose life was defined by faith and sacrifice. The party extended its condolences to Senator Basiru and his family, highlighting the late matriarch's exemplary character and contributions to the community.
