Shettima: Tinubu Govt Will Not Be Intimidated by Insurgents

In a statement issued on Saturday, Vice President Kashim Shettima assured that the administration of President Bola Tinubu will not be cowed by insurgent attacks that threaten Nigeria's collective peace. Shettima condemned recent violent acts, including abductions in Borno State, and reaffirmed the government's resolve to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians.

He noted that additional tactical assets and intelligence-driven reinforcements have been deployed to affected areas in recent days. Shettima emphasized the government's commitment to not only fighting insurgency but also defending humanity against hate-driven rhetoric.

He commended the resilience of the people of Borno State and praised the bravery of the troops on the frontline. The Vice President assured that those responsible for heinous crimes will face the full wrath of the law and that the administration will not rest until all abducted citizens are safely reunited with their families.
