Aletheia University VC Urges New Students to Excel

During the third matriculation ceremony of Aletheia University in Ogun State, Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, the Vice Chancellor, addressed newly admitted students, urging them to shun indiscipline and uphold integrity while pursuing academic excellence.

The ceremony marked the formal admission of 264 fresh students for the 2025/2026 academic session. Aletheia University received its operational license in June 2023 and currently offers 17 programs across three colleges, with a total of 33 pioneer students.

The university aims to expand to 34 fully approved programs across six colleges, with accreditation from relevant professional bodies, including the Council for Legal Education and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Akinyemi emphasized the importance of discipline and hard work in achieving success, while Maj.

Gen. Sansadeen Awosanya, the Chancellor, encouraged students to view their admission as a privilege and a responsibility.

The event also included a tree planting exercise to promote environmental sustainability.
