SIFAX Foundation Trains 90 Lagos Students in AI Skills

The SIFAX Foundation, which is the corporate social responsibility arm of the SIFAX Group, has successfully trained 90 students from senior secondary schools in Lagos on artificial intelligence skills. This initiative is part of the "Commun Connect" campaign project in Nigeria, aimed at empowering students with practical technology skills to enhance their educational outcomes and improve job security, ultimately leading to self-employment in the long term.

The training covered various areas, including computer literacy and machine learning. Mr.

Foluk Ademokun, the Executive Coordinator of the foundation, stated that the initiative is part of a broader effort to address youth unemployment and skill gaps in the country. The students, selected from different classes across schools, are expected to benefit not only personally but also contribute to the economic development of their communities.

Mr. Sherifat Ajala, the Vice Principal of one of the participating schools, expressed appreciation for the opportunity provided to the students to interact with leading minds in the field.
