National Single Window Processes N11.27bn in Five Months

The National Single Window (NSW) platform processed N11.27bn in payments and 114,122 licenses and permits between March 27 and August 17, 2026. During this period, 10,818 importers and agents registered on the platform, with five Ministries, Departments, and Agencies fully onboarded.

Over 8,000 users received training. The report indicated that 24 of 27 airlines were onboarded, transmitting 2,139 air cargo manifests, while only 23 of 88 shipping lines were onboarded, resulting in 43 manifests transmitted, reflecting a compliance level of 26%.

The Nigerian Ports Authority and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency completed their readiness requirements, with operational integration ongoing. The Standards Organisation of Nigeria achieved 100% compliance, processing 78,957 documents and facilitating N9.02bn in payments.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control processed 34,815 documents and received N2.20bn, while the National Agricultural Quarantine Service processed 38 documents for N30m. The NSW platform is set to implement Phase Two to enhance efficiency and transparency in Nigeria's trade ecosystem.
