National Single Window Processes Over 156,000 Licences
The National Single Window (NSW) platform has successfully processed 156,026 licences, permits, and certificates since its launch on March 27, 2026. This update was provided by the project team during a press conference in Abuja.
The NSW is designed to centralize trade-related regulatory processes and improve the efficiency of goods movement across Nigeria's borders. More than 12,000 importers, customs agents, shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders have registered on the platform.
Five government agencies have been fully onboarded, and over 8,000 users have received training. The platform processed 104,956 licences through the Standards Organisation of Nigeria and 50,622 through the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
Additionally, 3,964 air and sea cargo manifests were processed. The platform boasts a 99.98% uptime, and Phase 2 implementation has begun, with further enhancements expected by early 2027.
