COSEYL Slams Governor Soludo Over Security Concerns Amid Kidnapping Incident

The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has strongly criticized Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo for the lack of adequate security in the South East region. The group condemned Soludo for the recent kidnapping of Chief Enib Francis, the Chairman of Mgbuka Amazu Market in Onitsha, amid the enforcement of the sit-at-home order allegedly by IPOB.

COSEYL accused Soludo of failing to ensure the safe return of the victim and provide compensation to those affected by the order. The statement highlighted the serious security situation in Anambra State and questioned the governor's leadership in protecting the people.

COSEYL called for an end to the sit-at-home order, emphasizing the need for citizens to feel safe to conduct legitimate businesses without fear of attacks or kidnappings. The group urged Governor Soludo and other South East leaders to prioritize the safety of the citizens and strengthen security infrastructure to hold perpetrators of crimes accountable.
