Six NPFL Players Selected for Super Eagles Call-Up

Six players from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have received call-ups to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, as announced by head coach Ric Chell. Among those selected is Joseph Arumala, a striker from Ikorodu City, who has had an impressive season, scoring 13 goals.

Arumala previously represented Nigeria at the U-17 level. The selection also includes two players from Enugu Rangers and two from Rivers United.

The players are currently in Abuja to process their visas for travel to the United Kingdom, where they will participate in a semi-final match against Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup, scheduled for Tuesday, May 26. Ric Chell, aged 48, is expected to unveil the full squad later this week.

Meanwhile, Usman Abd Allah, the technical advisor of Remo Stars, has stated that the club aims to avoid relegation despite finishing the season in the lower ranks.
