Governor Sokoto's Infrastructure Plans Transform Sokoto State

Governor Ahm Aliyu Sokoto of Sokoto State is on a clear path to victory as he implements transformative policies aimed at improving the welfare of the state's residents. His administration has prioritized addressing the severe water crisis that plagued Sokoto for nearly eight years under the previous administration of Aminu Waziri Tambuw.

Governor Sokoto's initiatives include reviving six major water schemes capable of supplying approximately 40 million gallons of water daily, significantly improving access to potable water. Additionally, his administration is constructing 1,000 housing units in Gidan Salank Wajak and 500 new units along Kalambaina Wamakko, addressing the housing deficit.

These housing projects are part of a broader urban renewal program aimed at enhancing living conditions. Furthermore, the governor's administration has rehabilitated 80 township roads across Sokoto, demonstrating a commitment to infrastructure development and urban planning that aims to improve mobility and enhance the quality of life for residents.
