Soldiers and Forest Guards Deployed in Kwara Communities After Terrorist Attack

Following a terrorist attack in Woro Nuku community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, soldiers and forest guards have been deployed to guard against further attacks. The death toll has reached 40, with several houses burnt down by hoodlums.

Bandits from neighboring Niger State villages infiltrated the affected communities, leading to violent attacks and casualties. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq expressed condolences and condemned the cowardly attack, emphasizing the state's commitment to improving counterterrorism operations.

The security forces are intensifying efforts to combat terrorism in the region. The attack is seen as an attempt to distract security forces from their successful operations against terrorist and kidnapping gangs in the state.
