Soldiers Arrest 18 for Supplying Boko Haram Logistics

The Nigerian Army, through its operation Hadin Kai, intercepted a logistics supply chain for Boko Haram terrorists, resulting in the arrest of 18 individuals in Gubio Local Government Area, Borno State. The suspects were allegedly moving supplies from Gubio toward Gudumbali, intended for terrorist elements.

A statement on the Nigerian Army's Facebook page highlighted a disturbing pattern of civilian involvement in supporting networks that sustain insurgent activities in the northeast. Preliminary findings indicated that the arrested individuals were drawn into illicit trade due to economic challenges, which criminal groups exploit.

The Nigerian Army strongly warned citizens against collaborating with terrorist groups and emphasized that providing logistical support is a serious offense with grave consequences for national security.
