Soludo Appoints Dr. Umeakuewulu as CMD of Ojukwu Varsity

Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Dr. Maureen Uch Umeakuewulu as the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital located in Amaku, Anambra State.

This appointment was announced by Christian Aburim, the press secretary to the governor, and took effect last Friday. Dr.

Umeakuewulu is a distinguished Nigerian physician and a senior consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with a special focus on gynecological oncology and women's health. She has extensive clinical expertise and experience, having served at the National Hospital in Abuja, where she made significant contributions to healthcare in Nigeria.

Dr. Umeakuewulu is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCOG), as well as an international fellow of the College of Surgeons.
