Soludo Hosts Iftar, Urges Unity with Anambra Muslims

On Saturday, Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo hosted members of the Muslim community from across the three senatorial zones for an iftar gathering at the Government House, also known as Light House.

This event allowed the governor to break his daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan. In his address, Soludo expressed profound gratitude to the Muslim community for their support during the last gubernatorial election, where he secured a landslide victory with 73 percent of the total votes cast.

He emphasized the importance of unity and brotherhood, urging attendees to continue working hard to build a society everyone can be proud of. Soludo also referenced the significance of the national anthem and called for unity and love among Nigerians.

He noted a significant decline in insecurity, particularly regarding herder-farmer clashes. The event concluded with remarks from Alhaji Sanni Ejoh, Secretary General of the Anambra State Muslim Council, and Alhaji Gidado Saddiki, Chairman of the Fulani community in Anambra State, who praised the peaceful atmosphere under Soludo's administration.
