Soludo Unveils Plans to Revitalize Nnewi's Industry

On Wednesday, Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo outlined a strategic urban renewal agenda aimed at revitalizing Nnewi, which he described as the industrial heartbeat of the state. During his tour of the city, Soludo identified critical infrastructural bottlenecks that have hindered Nnewi's commercial potential.

He expressed frustration over the prolonged stagnation of public assets, some left neglected for nearly two decades. Soludo emphasized the need to transform dormant sites into modern urban centers, including the Nkwo Nnewi triangle, which has remained underdeveloped for 17 years.

He pledged to restore commercial activities and enhance public services, stating that the era of neglect is over. The governor was accompanied by top government officials, including Okei Ezeobi, Henri Arinz, and Dr. Clem Aguiyi, as he inspected locations earmarked for strategic housing development and public parks to stimulate local commerce.
