Soludo Commends Tinubu for Anambra Road Contracts

Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for awarding contracts to reconstruct two significant roads in Anambra. The first project involves the construction of the Otuocha-Anam-Abaji road, a 108 km stretch approved by the President for dualization, which is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Anambra and Abuja.

The second project is the dualization of the Oba-Nnewi-Uga-Okigwe junction road, spanning 150 km, which will enhance connectivity among Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Abia states. Soludo noted that these road projects would provide substantial benefits to commuters and the business community in the Southeast region.

He mentioned that he had previously met with President Tinubu on July 1 to discuss infrastructure needs in Anambra and had contacted the Federal Ministry of Works, led by Engr. Dave Umahi, for further details on the road projects.

The approval reflects the commitment of President Tinubu's administration to foster collaboration and improve the lives of the people in the region.
