Soludo's Road Project Transforms Anambra Communities

The completion of the 16.4 km Nawfija-Ajali-Ufuma-Ogbunka road project in Orumba South Local Government Area marks a significant infrastructural advancement for Anambra State, as stated by Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Chief Mr. Obiag Okwubanego, a philanthropist and member of the Boardwalk Group, praised the project during a press conference in Abuja, emphasizing its role in transforming transportation and agricultural activities in the region.

The road, which was first requested in 2019, drastically reduces travel time for residents and motorists, alleviating previous difficulties experienced during events such as funerals. The newly completed road enhances access to agricultural areas, particularly benefiting palm oil production, and is expected to boost local tourism by improving access to the popular Ozi stream.

Okwubanego highlighted the emotional connection of the Nawfija community to the project, underscoring the importance of continued infrastructural development for their welfare.
