Soludo Revalidates APGA Membership Amid Nationwide Drive

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has officially revalidated his membership in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) during a membership registration exercise that began on March 1, 2026. This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize the party's database and ensure compliance with the new Electoral Act.

Soludo, alongside his wife Nony Soludo, expressed enthusiasm for the digital transformation of the party's membership process, which he described as a game changer that sets APGA apart as a pioneer in Nigerian politics. The exercise aims to register two million new members and is being conducted simultaneously across 8,809 electoral wards in Nigeria.

Existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new members aged 18 and older with valid national identification numbers are encouraged to participate. Ejimofor Opara, the party's national public secretary, emphasized the importance of this exercise in fostering inclusivity and ensuring a robust and credible party structure.
