Soludo Submits 18 Commissioner-Nominees to Assembly

On Tuesday, Governor Prof. Charles Soludo of Anambra State sent a list of 18 commissioner-nominees to the Anambra State House of Assembly for screening.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon.

Somtochukwu Nkem Udeh, confirmed the receipt of this first batch of nominees during a plenary session. The nominees include Dr.

Ben Chuk Odoemena for Agriculture, Mr. Chukwukadibia Okoy for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr.

Udoji Amedu for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Dr. Eken Ogugua for Education, Dr.

Clem Aguiyi for Environment, Mr. Izuchukwu M.

Okafor for Finance, Dr. Afam Obidik for Health, Dr.

Law Mefor for Justice, Barr. Tobechukwu Nweke (SAN) for Land, Prof.

Charles Ofoegbu for Physical Planning, Barr. Chijiok Oseloka Ojukwu for Power, Engr.

Casmir Chineny Agummadu for Works and Infrastructure, Arc. Okei Ezeobi for Transport, Hon.

Eddi Ibuz for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mr. Esther Chinyer Onyekesi for Youth Development and Sports, and Mr.

Patrick Agha Mba for Local Government and Community Affairs. Additionally, Governor Soludo approved the appointments of new managing directors for various state agencies, including Mr.

Emeka Okonkwo for the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) and Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata for the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ASICTA).
