Soludo Visits Tinubu, Anambra State Governor Highlights Improved Security Measures

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo visited Bola Tinubu after a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Soludo praised the collaborative efforts among security agencies and vigilante groups in making Anambra one of the safest states in Nigeria.

He stressed the need for a coordinated approach involving the federal, state, and local governments to tackle insecurity effectively. Soludo disclosed the dismantling of 62 criminal camps since assuming office and highlighted the state's improved security during the 2025 Yuletide season.

He commended the roles of the military, police, DSS, civil defence, and paramilitary agencies in enhancing security. Soludo also mentioned the successful operations of the state vigilante group and other security outfits in combating crime, including anti-cult and anti-tout units.

He expressed optimism about restoring Anambra's economic activities by boosting social and economic development through enhanced security measures.
