Anambra Governor Soludo Announces Destruction of 62 Criminal Camps, Economic Revival

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo disclosed the destruction of 62 criminal camps in the state, attributing the increased security to the dismantling of these camps. The state had suffered revenue losses due to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) sit-at-home order, but with the camps destroyed, economic activities have resumed.

Soludo emphasized the state's safety and economic growth, highlighting the reopening of 45,000 shops at the Onitsha main market. He also mentioned the collaboration of various anti-cult and anti-tout groups in maintaining security.

Soludo expressed optimism about the state's future and the restoration of its premier market status.
