Nigeria-Eligible Players Called Up for England Youth Squads

The English Football Association has announced that thirteen players eligible to represent Nigeria have been called up for various England youth squads. Among them are Arsenal loanee Ethan Nwaneri and Chelsea-owned winger Tyriq Georg, who are included in the U21 squad for European Championship qualifiers against Andorra and Moldova.

Super Eagles coach Eric Chell is closely monitoring their performances, especially during the Coupe de France encounter against Rennes. Additionally, seven players of Nigerian descent have been named in Neil Ryan's England U20 squad for a friendly against Italy.

Notable players include Olabad Aluko, Somto Bonifac, Jayden Meghoma, Joshua Ajala, Jamaldeen Jimoh, Isiah Dada, and Mascol Callum Olusesi. Arsenal's Khari Ranson and Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha are also part of the U19 squad for the elite round of the European U19 Championship qualifiers.

Landon Emenalo and Weslei Okoduwa, sons of former Super Eagles players, are set to add international caps at the youth level for England.
