South East traditional rulers have prohibited the use of the "Eze Ndigbo" title outside the region, leading to disagreements among traditional title holders. Ohanez Ndigbo in Niger State has adhered to the directive, with Chief Emmanuel Ezeugo confirming compliance.

Dr. Martin Orji emerged as the President-elect in the recent elections, with Barrister Sebastien Ogbogo, Pastor Dan Okoro, and Ikechukwu Agbo taking other leadership positions.

The move aims to maintain the cultural integrity of the Igbo community.
