Sowore Faces Trial for Calling Tinubu 'Criminal' as Court Admits DSS Evidence

Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress presidential candidate, is facing trial in a Federal High Court in Abuja for referring to President Bola Tinubu as a criminal. The court admitted evidence presented by the Department of State Services (DSS) related to Sowore's comments.

The evidence includes video clips and social media posts. The trial, presided over by Justice Moham Umar, allowed the prosecution to present the material despite objections from Sowore's defense.

The trial is set to continue on January 27, with Sowore as the sole defendant facing amended charges.
