Lagos Exhibition Celebrates Artist Bruce Onobrakpeya

The "Gregorian Art Exhibit," organized by St. Gregory's College and curated by Mudiar Onobrakpeya, will celebrate the work of master artist Bruce Onobrakpeya from April 25 to April 27, 2026, at the Jubilee Hall in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The grand opening ceremony is scheduled for April 25 at 11:30 AM, with a strict invitation-only VIP view, while the general public will have access starting at 2:00 PM. The exhibition aims to honor Onobrakpeya's enduring influence as a pioneer and mentor in Nigeria's modern art movement, recognized by UNESCO as a living human treasure.

The event will feature a wide range of artworks from various artists, including late Victor Uwaifo and others, bridging generations of artists and showcasing the evolution of Nigerian art.
