SSANIP Gives FG 21-Day Ultimatum Over Unpaid Arrears

The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP) has issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to address unpaid salary arrears and welfare issues affecting polytechnic staff nationwide. The ultimatum was issued after the association's General Executive Council meeting in Kano State.

SSANIP accused the government of neglecting the polytechnic sector and failing to honor agreements. The demands include addressing salary arrears, implementing the new minimum wage, and constituting a renegotiation committee.

SSANIP warned of a nationwide shutdown of polytechnic services if the government fails to meet their demands by August 27, 2025.
